Two shrouded figures walked down a dark and damp path, they seemed to be at ease to the untrained, but to others they were tense,"I wonder if its him this time?"One of them said to the other.

The slightly shorter of the pair smiled thinly. "I'd like to hope it's orochimaru-sama we get to see this time. He must think he runs some sort of bearaucratic organization, all his little minions giving us the runaround" he ran a hand through his long black hair. "Though I hear he is no fun in person, if you get my meaning"

The other chuckled slightly,"I dont thik he wants to lose any more men...it'll be him this time, This way."He said as he made a Seal and leaped forward.

The path ended into a grand room, arched and vaulted cielings, but black all around. Posed upon a seat looking quite bored was a pale toothy fellow. His emotionless eyes immediately unnerved Kazemei, the lone ronin. He urged Kazama with his eyes to make no sudden move against Orochimaru.
"Orochimaru-sama, we come before you at last!" Kazemei declared, his voice ringing through the hollow hall.

Orochimaru looked up at them and smiled,"Well, seems you finally found me...what can i do for you this day?"He said with a voice like a snake.

Kazama grinned and answered,"We seek an alliance with you, Orochimaru-sama...we will help you destroy the Hidden Leaf village. in return we may need your help...are we agreed?"Kazama said.

Before Orochimaru could answer another voice answered,"Destroy leaf? easier said than done..."

"Quiet sasuke!" Said orochimaru.

Kazemei mumbled, "The famous sasuke, I've longed to meet you as well. You know, i've heard so much about your speed..." A playful smile drew across Kazemei's face.

Sasuke dissapeared and reapeared inron of Kazemei,"Yeah? So?"

Orochimaru Laughed,"Very well, if you can fight sasuke you can join me."

Kazama looked at sasuke,"You move fast...lets just see how fast."He said as he pulled out a scroll,"Kazemei! Lets go!"

Quickly Kazemei formed three hand signals. His body flashed behind Sasuke, dropping low and sweep-kicking Saske's legs out from under him.

Sasuke flipped over Kazemei's kick and flipped towards Kazama who unrolled the scroll as a puppet appeared,"Meet Kosu,Sasuke...my puppet" Kazama said as the puppet launched at sasuke.

As Kosu flew towards Sasuke, Kazemei took the oppurtunity to draw his woodensword from it's sheath at his waist. While sasuke was still in mid flip, Kazemei repeated his hand signals. Before Sasuke unfurled to strike Kosu, Kazemei brought the Shiro Nasutto across the ninja's stomach in a broad horizontal slash.

Sasuke aborted the strike, sliding to a stop across the room. He instinctively pressed his hand over his stomach, his eyes just for a second going wide, then the calm passive look returned. There was no blood, not even a ripped cloth. "An interesting sword...you aim for chakra, not blood"

Kazama chuckled and used Kosu to launch posin at sasuke,"Yes, that is an intresting sword."He laughed.

Sasuke flipped over and made several hand signs and said,"Fire Element: Great FIreball Technique!"And aimed it at Kazemei.

Kazemei leaped backward as flames erupted forth, consuming the floor space where he had just been, leaving a small crater. He then ran a circle among the length of the room, after images of himself leaping at at Sasuke. 10 images attacked sasuke form 360 degrees around simultaineously. If sasuke didn't know which was Kazemei, he'd be in deep trouble.

Sasuke could not teel who was who and subsituted out, straight in to Kosu's arms,"Ha! we win...Sasuke."Kazama said.

Orochimaru grinned,"good, then its settled."

Sasuke shoved Kosu off of him, angry that he had to yield. Quietly he skulked back into the inner chambers of orochimaru's sanctum. SHeathing his weapon and straightening his color, Kazemei grinned at Orochimaru. "So, how will we proceed?"

Orochimaru grinned,"Well first..."

mercury walked around the sand village..She sighed."boring life.."

Kakashi almost walked Mercury as he was busy shaking sand out of his ostentiously orange book. Having seen her though he doubled back to crinkled an eye at her. "Yo!"

Merc looked at him blankly."Sup Kakashi dude."

Kakashi blinked rapidly. Then apparently at a loss he echoed, "Kakashi dude..."

"Yeah."Merc blinked.

Kakashi nodded his head slowly although he seemed unsure how to take that greeting. "Hmm." He shrugged it off and flipped open the orangebook again, promptly getting showered with sand. How can this much sand get stuck in one book? He must have emptied out half of the whole desert already. he turned it upside down again shaking the book and walking off.

A red haired man walked through the village thinking ti him self, he was of meidum heighth and was looking at buildings as he accidentaly bumbed into kakashi.

Merc looked at Kakashi then at the red haired man.Is that who I think it is???

The man looked at merc and noticed the sand head band, his head had no protector."Well, a shinobi of the sand."

Merc blinked."Sup dude."

He looked at her blankly,"And you are?"

"Mercury the desert Rose."

He blinked,"Desert rose? And yet you serve this village?"

"Yeah.Who are you?"

The man blinked and ignored her question,"How old are you girl?"

"I'll tell you when you tell me who you are."Merc crossed her arms.

He smiled slightly and started to walk off,"If you want my name girl...you must first seek power."

"Is your name Gaara...?"Merc asked.

He turned,"Gaara? no i am not...you would not know me."

"Sasori?"Merc blinked.

He smiled,"the one called sasori is dead..."

"Than who are you...?"Merc asked,growing annoying.

He frowned,"I am Kazama Nara...puppet master supreme."

"Nara?Related to Shikamaru Nara?"

He nodded,"Acousin...and now i take my leave, Mercury."

"If you see Gaara,tell him I'm waiting for him."Merc waved."Bye dude."

"If i see gaara, i might just fight him."He said.

Im a heart beat Kazama was pinned to the ground by Merc."Touch him and I'll kill you."

He used chakra strings to throw her off him,"Well...i wish to test his strength...oh, and the one who killed sasoir is me."He said as he dissapeared.

Merc growled.She was off in a heartbeat to find Gaara.

Walking towards the sand village entrance, her cloak flying in the wind, Crysta looked up at the guards on the rocky face. Glaring at them as she is inspected, she shrugs off their searching hands and disappears as she runs to the village.

The red haired man walks beside her as he is leaving the village,"Hmmm."He says as he pases her.

Walking passed a group of children playing with a ball, Crysta looked at the children in utter disgust. Unfortunately for them, one of the children kicked the ball the wrong way and it rolled to her feet. Picking it up and looking at it , Crysta popped the ball with her claw-like nails and dropped it to the ground. Glaring at the angry parent that had been watching, she started towards the middle of the village. 

Kazama chuckled a bit and turned around to folow her towards the village,"This should be intresting."He thought.

Crysta turned down an alleyway and walked over to a broken down door. Stepping inside without disturbing any of the broken pieces, she went into the darkness of the abandoned room.

Kazama watched her closley, curious as to her motive.

Crysta sits down in the middle of the room and closes her eyes as she sighs. "Are you going to just sit there like an abandoned puppet or are you going to actually say something," she whispered.

He smile dand walked in,"You know where to find one? i love puppets."He said softly.

"Hmph, then go make one for all I care. Why are you following me?" Crysta glared as she pulled out an apple and started eating it.

He grinned,"I could make one out of you possibly..."He trailed off.

Crysta laughed at this. "So, that is your power? You are a puppet master then?"

He chuckled,"If you say so...i was trained along-side Sasori of the red sands...My name is Kazama Nara, and you are?"

"Ah yes, I have heard of the one named Sasori. I am Crysta of no village. Never did like the village life." She looked out a nearby window at the village.

Kazama nodded,"I have forsaken this village in the name of power...as for you, what do you seek?"

"What do I seek? Hmph, I seek nothing but revenge on everyone for what they have done to me."

He smiled and walked forward,"Then...after that? what next?"

"Ah, who knows." She looked at him. "Keep you distance from me, man. I despise people getting close to me. Especially those little rats you call children"

He smiled but didnt stop,"You desire revenge...and i have the means of granting that...the question is, are you willing to do anything for it?"He asked mere feet from her.

She stood up and smiled. "Are you asking me if I'll be a dog to someone or if I will serve for a cause?"

He smiled,"All i am asking is a simple exchange, i help you, you help me..."

She walked around him, inspecting him "And what does helping you entitle hmm?"

He grinned,"Nothing much, the destruction of the Hidden leaf village for one...and a few personal agendas."

"The hidden leaf village? Really?" Crysta smiled at this. "Is that not where the Kuubi is from?"

He frowned,"You mean the one they call, Uzumaki Naruto? What do you know of him?"

She glared at him "He's an over-reactive, hyper, easily offended little kid that has the Kuubi trapped in him. At times of great emotion or when his life is at stake, the Kuubi helps him fight, making this Naruto kid much stronger. Kuubi is the reason why I am the way I am."

Kazama paused in though for a moment,"Thats why he was never truy able to conqure the village..."He murmered to him self.

"Now what are you muttering about?" Crysta put her hands on her hips and tilted her head slightly. 

He looked at her blankly as if he had forgotten she was there,"Oh, just thinking out loud...so what do you say, Crysta? Do we have a deal?"He said while extending his hand.

She shook his hand, careful not to cut him with her white clawed gloves. "Deal." she tightened her grip, scoring small cuts on his hand. "For now."

He smiled and licked the blood from his hand,"Agreed."

She crossed her arms, clicking her claws together in impatience. "So? where to?"

He though for a moment,"Perhaps we should handle your thing first, mine is rather lengthy and drawn out."

"Hmmm, very well." she clenched her fists. "But some of my wish connot be fullfilled."

He frowned but waited for her to continue.

"Well, shall we start then?" She tilted her head and waited.

He nodded,"We shall."

Kazemei picked his nails nonchalantly as he stood out of sight on a nearby rooftop of a village outskirts Inn, listening to Crysta flirtively let out details to her life story.
That silly fool has his talents. I couldn't have picked a better companion... Kazemei thought, watching them continue their tentative conversation into the city. what he lacks in class, work ethic, and humility he makes up for it in sheer talent, and an astonishing ability to make fast friends

"I remember when i thought you were an imbecile, Kazama," Kazemei chuckled softly. "Yet you never fail to impress. Be sure you get Gaara sicked on Kakashi quickly, I'd hate to have anyone but myself screw this up" he said to himself, mostly, as the pair where out of sight.

Kazemei looked up to the sky, noting the suns rapid descent down the horizon, and with a blur of hand signals with his left hand, he dissapeared.

Just under two hours later, Kazemei arrived at the village Hidden in the Leaves, draped in a cloak befitting to a poor traveling loner, perhaps a merchent, perhaps a hermit, perhaps a beggar, perhaps a legendary ninja. The unassuming gray ragged poncho-like coat's main purpose was to make sure no one perhaps thought he was perhaps anything, just ignoring him was a fine purpose.

Strolling straight down the main and a slow pace he hung a left, walking straight to the gates of the cemetary.

Visable even from the crossroad across mainstreet, the resting place of the Hokage who gave his soul to the Reaper just for a dice roll's chance at killing Orochimaru, was clearly visible. Now each of the majestic shrine like tombs of fallen warriors rose and fell like mountain ranges of rank and honor.

Finding just what he expected, Kazemei dipped his head in prayer in audible range of Shikimaru, who kneeled at at a butterfly bust headstone marked CHOJI

"Three years, eh, big guy?" Shikimaru gave a trademark scoffing noise and closed his eyes. Clear as day through even the gloom and cloudy dusk of twilight, kazemei watched him through a sidelong glance shielded by his long chops of hair and the wisps of his ragged hood.

 Shikimaru blinked rapidly and welcomed his only other company in the ceremony.
 "Hey, um, which one are you here for?"

"Which one?" Kazemei stood, facing Shikimaru with the last of the sun behind him, turning his entire profile to shadow.
 "I'm here for every last one of the village"

Shikimaru rolled his eyes, "Yeah, of course. Everyone buried here deserves a thought every now and then, such sacrifice..."

"You misunderstood me, Shikimaru, I said I'm here for every last one of the village, those alive." A bright smile glinted underneath Kazemei's cowl.

"Huh? Who are, pal?"

Through the darkness of night and the sensitiveness of Kazemei's ability to see chakra, Shikimaru was alarmingly bright, pulsing like some angry blue gas.

"A friend of a friend" Kazemei drew a sword that gave off a dull alabastor glow.

Shikimaru's chuckle extended to a throaty laugh. "Only an idiot would challenge me at night. you must be insane."

"No, just sure of what I'm up against." Kazemei threw off his cloak, flinging it into Shikimaru's face and dashed foreward.
Shikimaru batted it away.

At the same time, both shouted: "Fool!"

Yet when Shikimaru released his shadow, and Kazemei swung his wooden sword, only one of the two was on the ground.

Shikimaru gasped, realizing he was looking up at the sparse stars in the cloudy sky.

" What? What....what a Drag..."

"Sorry, Shiki my friend..." Kazemei twirled his sword arrogantly with spinning wrist motions. "I'm immune to any simple shadow possession Jutsu. You fancy yourself a strategician, with a fitting Jutsu. Keep your opponant at a distance force him to back into a trap. But a simple treat fixes a one trick pony, Mister Nara. Not only does this sword negate Shadow based Jutsu but it also severs whatever chakra line I see you using it with. Face it, Check mate in one move. Oh, i also severed the lifelines that let you breathe."

"I've been....A...fool...So this, is the end..." Shikimaru feigned conceit to his death while his brain whirled with any way to beat the speed and sheer advantage of his oponant. But he wouldn't get the chance...

"No no NO, Shikimaru Nara, not the ending, the beginning! I'm certainly not allowed to kill you, and in any chance the fact that I had you sorely outgunned. Twas truly like bringing a 12 level Ninjutsu into a chunin fight. I'd get a bit better before you greet your cousin, Kazama would be sorely dissapointed in you." Kazemei kicked Shikimaru over on his stomach and raised the Shiro Nasutto over the fallen Jounin.

"What? My cousin sent you?? What do you plan to do to the Leaf Village?" Shikimaru felt like his lungs no longer existed and each breath he took felt like it washed past his lungs and gave nothing to his body. He gasped and managed to get to his hands and knees. "Who plans this? Orochimaru? ANSWER ME!?"

"Shikimaru, this is bigger than you realise. rather than pin this plan on any one enemy, try remembering what the plan's focal target is." With that Kazemei jabbed the point of the Shiro Nasutto into the lower span of Shikimaru's spine, the temporary chakra block shutting off his concious brain like a light switch.

In four hours, Shikimaru would wake with nothing but a slight ache in his lower back and chest. The real pain and danger would persist in Kazama and Kazemei's unfolding plan.

BAck in the sand village Kazama looked at Crysta,"In two weeks, meet me at hokage moutain in the leaf village."He said as he dissapeared.

Crysta nodded and walked out of the room into the night. She walked towards the exit, planning on getting to the leaf village as soon as she could.

Kazama Appeared inside the leaf village, Wearing a long Grey cloak, He looked around and walked off to find Kazamei.

As Kazama passed a quaint dark-lit saloon on the main street, Kazemei, similarly dressed, got his attention with a discreet whistle.
"Shikimaru's gonna be looking for you soon, hahaha."

Crysta walked out of the forest and looked at the hidden leaf village and frowned. This place hasn't changed a bit since I left, except for the fact that they have a new hokage. Thinking to herself, she made her way to the hokage mountain.

Kazama glanced at him,"Really? And why would that be?"He asked Kazamei.

"Well, I figured you'd enjoy taking on that goody two shoes yourself." Kazemei smiled. "Plus he's something of a leader to all the young talent here. I figured I'd let him know a storm was brewing. Besides, I just assumed there wasn't any love lost between the two of you. Gave him a good scare, I did," He laughed, "Nothing's better then one-hitting a guy who's sure he'll win."

MErc wandered through the sandvillage."GAARA!

Kazama raised an eyebrow,"Really? That disgrace to nara, that fool."

"Hardly, I think getting caught by his shadow would be a lot worse for you." Kazemei laughed, "I would hate to fight that guy without my Shiro Nasutto on a cliff. He plays hopscotch, you skip off the edge of a cliff, hahaha! But yeah, it was painfully easy.
Now, the best way to continue, since I'm sure Shikimaru will get the Hokage's attention tomorrow morning, is to weaken the defense system before they can even start preparing. We should get back to the sand village. Kakashi is alone there, easy pickings"

Kazama looked up at the sky,"You are too confident, Kakashi-san is no push over...But I agree...you go first, I'll catch up."

"Well, Kakashi must be taken out. We can't expect the atasuki to keep up their end of the bargain when shinobi like him are still at Large. The act so tough but really their a bunch of cowards. Remember Orochimaru insisted personal reveng, but he's not even half the sanin he used to be. If you're afraid of Kakashi, then this plan can't work. I'll kill him myself if I have to." Kazemei left, dissapearing before kazama could argue strategy any further.

Kakashi sat indian-style alone in his room, rented from a modest inn in the Sand Village. In one hand he held a graphic novel, his other hand steadily fed potato chips into his mouth; his mask rolled a few inches up his face. His eye stopped moving over the words and pictures in his book and moved to the window. He rolled up the potato chip bag and reset his mask.

"Come on out," he said with a sigh.

The window was shattered with a flurry of kunai. Though it did not appear that anyone had entered the room, Kakashi sent a roundhouse kick at the oposite corner of the room. Seemingly materializing out of thin air, The ronin ninja Kazemei flew back, the imprint of Kakashi's shoe in his face.
As he crashed into the wooden side wall of the room, he transformed...

Into a wooden log.

Reappearing to the side of Kakashi, Kazemei leaped foreward, plowing his shoulder into the shinobi, knocking him backward. Kazemei's wooden sword slashed out, glancing off Kakashi's wrist, causing him to drop the kunai he had just drawn.

Then his attacker dissapeared. Kakashi darted outside.

"Now where did you go..." 
"Nowhere, hahahahaha" Kazemei's voice rang out in the street, echoing to the point where his location was uncertain.
"No more chidori, I bet that wrist feels so tender and sore, AHhahahaha"

Through his now exposed Sharingan, Kakashi clearly saw Kazemei coming, fast but no longer invisable, his sword outstretched.

Too bad he doesn't know it works with both hands he thought.

"Lightning Blade!" is all Kakashi had time to shout before
The two contected in a brilliant flash of white-blue light.

Hinata was watching from a safe distance.

Back in the lieaf village Kazama sat for a few monents before standing,"I better go check on that over confident fool before he gets himself killed he said as he dissapeared.

In Sand village Kazama appeared just as Kakashi and Kazemei Collided,"I told the fool that kakashi is no push over."

Merc saw Kazama as Kakashi and ran over to him"Kakashi-sama!"

Back in the leaf village, Crysta grumbled to herself. How boring! I need some action! I'm going to go back to the Sand Village and destroy something until I actually need to be here. With that she got up and vanished, heading towards the Sand Village

Kazama cursed and leapt infront of Merc,"Your going nowhere."

MErc fell back."K-Kakashi..?

Kazama smiled,"Wrong girl...kakashi will not help you...he is, busy at the moment...this is your only chance to run."

Merc got up but did not run.Insted,she pulled out a kunai."I never run..."

Crysta sat on a rooftop, watching the fierce kid with disgust. The kid reminded her way too much of the Kuubi brat.

Kazama smiled then made the sign for shadow posseion,"then you die, girl."He said ashe channeled chakra,"Shadow posession Jutsu!"

Merc yelped and backflipped away from him."No way am I letting you control me..."

He laughed,"You were pretty stupid to challenge me at night!"He said as he flung three kunai's at where she would land,"I have mastered Nara Jutsu more than even shikamaru."

"Shuka-shake?Hes still alive?"Merc dodged the kunais and all possible shadows,accedently stepping into a shadow.

Kazama laughed,"Got you now...but yes...Shikamaru is alive...barley."

Merc whimpered and tried finding a way out of the shadows,but realizing she was trapped.

He smiled and walked forward,"Your rather good girl...what are you, a gennin?"

"Chunnin..."Merc glared."I should be a jonin but they wont let me cause I like to kill too much..."

He smiled and got right in her face,"You like to kill eh? how old are you?"He asked suddenly, still not releasing her.

Merc struggled againt the shadow possession."16....I'm turning 17 in October..."

Crysta looked at the kid in curiousity, which wasn't something that happened to often. She jumped down and landed right behind Kazama and grinned. "Strangely, this kid amuses me. Pleasant to see you again Kazama."

Merc hissed adn growled at Crysta."how am I amusing...?"

"Not even leagel yet and this amount of power"Kazama though to himself. To Crysta he said,"Your still here? or meetings in three days..."

Merc growled."Let me out of this possesion!"

"How you amuse me is none of your business kid. And I know when our meeting is. I simply got bored and came back here." Crysta grinned and watched as the kid tried to get free of the shadow possesion.

Merc struggled.She was accually able to move er arm and grab a kunai."I-Im warning you."

He smiled and made another hand sign,"Shadow strangle jutsu..."He said as shadows began choking her,"Listen up girl...Heres the deal...I need someone to further my bloodline and you seem perfect...so either die here or join me, those are the only options."

"Hmmmmm, that twas almost harsh." Crysta looked over to the side and thought to herself.

Kakashi got to his feet, sure he could have only been unconscious for a few seconds but he found that three more ninja's had joined the fray.

Mercury! Kakashi leaped over the still prone Kazemei and unleashed a barrage of no less than twenty kunai at Kazama.

But Kazemei wasn't unconcious. What appeared to be his body exploded, knocking Kakashi off course but causing no damage.
Kazemei faded back to visible speed as he shoved Kazama out of the way of the flying kunai's, not realizing that he had forced Kazama to release his hold on Mercury...

simultaineously, In the Leaf village, Shikimaru Was discussing the implication's of his attackers threat to the Hokage.

"Lady Tsunade, I swear to you, even though this guy didn't dress like one I know he was one of Orochimaru's cronies! Is the village really prepared for the onslaught the Atasuki could bring down on us? I know how many Jounin are out of the territory, we're sitting ducks!"

"Calm down kid, this guy sounded like it was just a personal dispute between your cousin and yourself. I would keep your guard up, but I hardly think this is a concern for the entire village just yet." Tsunade shooed the still complaining shikimaru out of her office...

As the chakra focus of Kazama's Shadow Jutsu momentarily released Mercury, Kakashi's Chidori attack blasted the ground between Crysta and Kazama. Kazemei had time enough to use his Inner Speed Jutsu to move out of the path and once again become invisible to the other ninjas. Kakashi front flipped beside Mercury, steadying her, ready to counter attack with her.

Crysta leaped to the side in a flip, escaping the chidori's blast and landing a few feet behind Merdury and Kakashi. With a grin she sent a fury of kunais at their backs and prepared to use her kekkei genki to do the Demonic Ice Mirrors jutsu if needed.

Merc quickly made handsigns and Kakashi and herself were covered in a sand sheild of black sand.Mercury breathed heavily."We have time to plan a strategy Kakashi..."She shivered as she heard the kunai hitting the sheild.

"First thing, the one in the jacket with the long hair... don't let him touch you with that wooden sword." Kakashi wrung his right hand repeatedly, trying to shake some feeling back into it. "It seems to disrupt chakra. He's too fast for you as well, I can barely see him." the Jounin drew several kunai. "Attack the one who said he was a Nara from a distance. He obviously has a number of long ranged jutsus. Let me handle the guy with the sword. Go for the girl first, she seems easy enough."

"But sensei,what if one of us dies.We'll be out numbered."The chunnin whimpered.She pulled out her giant blade from its sheath.

Kakashi chuckled lightly "Mercury, we're already outnumbered. When you lower the shield, our goal is to get away. Our chance of winning against the well balanced abilities of the enemy is too low. I know how stubborn you are, but pride is one of the most common causes of death among shinobi. I guess I sounded like I was planning an attack, there, but we only have to cause enough confusion and damage to increase our chances of escape."

"Our best way to escape is to run.Not fight.We don't need to die Kakashi.We can both run and that fast guy might catch up,but we only have to fight him!"Merc whimpered.She wanted to avoid being hurt.

Kakashi's Sharingan saw through the pulsing flow of Mercury's sand shield. He sighed, "Listen to me very carefully. We can't run without fighting a little. Kakashi saw Kazemei dash toward the sand wall, which began to buckle inward from the chakra breaking effects from his Shiro Nasutto which he was stabbing repeatedly into the wall.

Merc made another handsign,trying to make to sandsheild stronger."Damnit!"

Crysta laughed as she watched Merc strengthen her sand shield and ran forward towards it with her special ice dagger out. She stabbed if into the sand, making it freeze and the sand particles separate a little. Then she kicked it hard, cracking the shield slightly and jumped back. "Perfect" 

Kazama Recovered and eyed Crysta's work,"Nice, my turn now."He said as he made rapid hand signs,"FIRE RELEASE: FLAME DRAGON BOMB!"

"Damnit!"MErc grabbed Kakahi's arm adn dragged him out of the sheild,running in the opposite direction of the others. 

Crysta ran after them, kunai in hand. She threw a few throwing stars at them to make them dodge and used her ice dagger to ice up the ground, making it too slippery to run well. Crysta slid across it like she had ice-skates on and slid at them.

Merc growled softly.Insted of blocking the shuriken,she got in the way and let them hit her.she breathed heavily and pushed Kakashi out of the way."RUN!Get help!"

Kakashi Turned around,"Merc wa- ARGGGH!"He tried to say as he was kicked by Kazama into a nearby wall.

Kazama smiled and once again turned to face Merc with a shadow possossion jutsu,"Last chance girl...come with me to further my blood line, or watch Kakashi Die infront of you with you close behind."

Merc stared at Kakashi and shut her eyes tight."Fine...But you leave Kakashi sensei alone!"

"Hmmmmm, does that mean that I have to too?" Crysta grinned like a little kid. She slid around in circles on her ice ring.

Kazama smiled,"Only if you want to, Crysta."He said,"Now merc...swear it in blood...you will further my bloodline unless death by anothers hand takes you or i agree not to."
He said as he motioned Kazemei over.

"All of you mustleave him alone!"Merc shouted,her rage purely seen in her eyes.She shivered."Must I sign in blood...?"

He smiled,"yes...sging in blood...on this symbol on my arm if you will."He said as he pulled back his sleve,"This ensures that if you try to go back on your word...you will die, as will any who share your blood."

"I am the only one in my family left..."Merc cut her finger and wrote her name in Kazama's arm.

Crysta frowned at the sight of the girl signing her name on the symbol and shrugged. She slid over to where the two where and stepped off the ice and, with a flick of her hand, the ice disappeared. "I suppose I shall head off to our meeting spot then. See you later!"
  
Kazama smiled and touced a bit of Kakashi's blood and also singed Kakashi's name in it,"This is to ensure that even if you dont mind dieing, Kakashi will die as well, Now Kazemei...dispose of this Leaf village scum...make sure he's alive when you leave him...where is up to you."

Merc looked at Kakashi and whimpered,whispering"Im sorry.."

Kakashi groaned and moved a bit.

Kazama glared,"Get him out of my sight, Merc...Come with me."

"Be gentle with him!"Merc ran over to Kakashi and helped him up."I am so sorry sensei..."

Crysta frowned at the girls disobedience and walked over to the girl, grabbed her by the back of the shirt, and flung her at Kazama. "You ought to put a shorter leash on your new pet Kazama. She'll learn bad habits if you keep her on one that is too long." Crysta then turned to Kakashi and grabbed him by the collar of his jacket, dragging him away.

Merc clawed at the air."LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

Crysta smiled coldly at Merc. "Worry not, little pet. He will live...perhaps barely, but he will live."

"You'll be dead be the time I get through with you!!"Merc growled adn clawed the air.

Ignoring the Jerry Springer style action around him, Kazemei leaned over and mumbled into Kazama's ear. "See what you can do about arranging for Crysta to meet Uzamaki Naruto. I figure it would be her pleasure to take care of him."
He smiled broadly. "I actually asked Sasuke if he wanted the pleasure, but he just shrugged it off, saying Naruto wasn't worth the trouble. I want him dead next. I happen to know that far too many shinobi have died underestimating him."

Kazemei strolled over to Crysta.

"Put Kakashi down. I know torture and all that is so much fun, but he has to die immediately. I'm not giving him any time to escape!" He lifted his sword before Crysta even had time to argue or obey him, Stabbing the Shiro Nasutto down into Kakashi's heart, stopping the chakra flow that sustained his life.

Yet Kakashi's seemingly lifeless body dissolved into a puddle of water.

"DAMNIT! A clone! Find him NOW!" Kazemei roared, wheeling around, searching the area, seeing nothing.
"If he gets to the leaf village and warns the Hokage, the plan goes to hell!"

Crysta grinned and jumped to the top of a building. She looked around a bit and smiled. "He's over that way," She pointed north. "I cannot catch him at the speed he's going though."

MErc grinned."Hah!See?Kakashi is no fool."

Kazama though for a moment then sighed,"You leave me no choice...Kazemei...Kill him."He said as he motioned Crysta over to him.

"You said you wouldn't kill him!"Mercury screamed and growled visiously.

Hinata Ran up to Mercury,"Mercury what's going on?"

"Hinata run!"Mercury yelled

Hinata looked at Mercury,"What,why?"

"These people are trying to kill Kakashi.They will kill you too.RUN!"

Hinata was shocked,"What,why do they want to kill Kakashi?"

"SHUTUP AND RUN!"Merc kicked Hinata gently,trying to get her to run

Hinata nodded and disappeared.

Though kakashi had already made it miles out of the sand village across the desert, far out of the reach of his pursuers as Mercury currently kept them busy, few, if any ninja could outrun Kazemei.

Appearing in front of the dashing Kakashi, Kazemei punched him without warning in the stomach. Before a lashing side kick could connect with Kakashi's head, he rolled out of the way, drawing kunai's between each of his fingers and thumbs.

"Did you think I would let you get away after all you've done, Kakashi?" Kazemei said, an insane smile across his face.
"You know, I've waited for this day!"

"How could I forget my dear former student?" Kakashi said through tired gasps. "Where've you been all these years, Jurai?"

Kazemei appeared to never move, yet Kakashi doubled over again
blood seeping out of his mouth.

"I never want to hear that name again! You Hear Me?"
Kazemei pulled Kakashi's head up by his hair.

Kazemei's eyes locked with Kakashi's, the Sharingan gleaming in the moonlight. Kazemei doubled back realizing Kakashi's trick as his muscles began to seize, hallucinations dancing through his eyes.

"You were my biggest Mistake, Jurai, I don't deny that." Kakashi said, getting back to his feet.

Kazemei cried out in outrage, knowing full well He couldn't resist Kakashi's Genjutsu for long. Kakashi had copied this one from Itachi, A jutsu that could parylyze a person into an endless nightmare that truly lasted mere seconds.

"DAMN THEY'RE EVERY WHERE! STOP RINGING!" Kazemei fell to his knees, reality fading into blurs while his nightmare came into clearer focus.

Kakashi released him from the jutsu, knowing he had finished Kazemei already.

"You lied, you son of a bitch." Kazemei slowly removed his headband, it's metal plate's scarred featureless face glinting in the pink-blue fading twilight. he tossed it at Kakashi's feet.

"Vanity comes back to haunt any who indulge in it, Jurai. I know now that I was the one who warped you into the senseless killer you've become." Kakashi knelt in front of Kazemei, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I Passed DAMN IT!" Kazemei's ragged breaths made his indignant roars into harsh whispers.

Kazamei brought forth a single rusted orb about the size of a large pebble out from under his jacket; A frayed red ribbon tied to a bronze bell.

"You did take it, Jurai-"
"MY NAME IS KAZEMEI!"
"You took the bell, but you failed ANYWAY!" Kakashi gripped Kazemei by the collor and shook him violently.
"All I tried to teach you was teamwork! I never understood why such a simple test was so hard to comprehend by so many genin! But you were the greatest flaw in my test..."

"I PASSED! I took it all by myself! I was destined to meet all of my dreams, to be a great shinobi! I took that stupid bell from you while you read your stupid book and you never saw me do it!" Kazemei's eyes were glazed, part of him still was very much in his greatest torment, the genjutsu inflicted on him was designed to bring a shinobi's greatest personal anguish on him.

Now Kakashi was sure, Kazemei's broken mind was stuck on the very day Kakashi marked him as a failure for entrance to the chunin exams. His voice was not the deep smooth confident one of Kazemei, but the still high pitched childish cocky voice of the trainee Kakashi knew was Jurai.

"You were supposed to work as a team, Jurai. No one ever had, ever has, nor ever was supposed to take the bells. All you had to do was satisfy me that your planning and teamwork was sufficient enough for me to ever consider depending on you." Kakashi slapped Kazemei across the face and brought his former student's eyes closer to his.
"Not ONLY did you fail, but in your pride you killed Kanada and Onigami, your friends because they couldn't get the bells too! They were too weak you said! Did you really think I failed you because of them?"

"YES!" Kazemei roared and swiped his Shiro Nasutto across Kakashi's stomach in a deliberate killing blow, but once again Kakashi disentegrated into a puddle of water.

Kazemei screamed in raging frustration and stabbed the wet sand again and again. Finding an empty water bottle two hundred yards down increasingly hard to track footsteps, he crushed it in his hand, throwing it in the direction he could never be sure Kakashi had gone. Then he returned to the sand village, walking slowly, knowing it would take hours to get back at that speed.
